About the Photographer

My passion is to see the world around me and communicate it through images that are exciting and true. Whether capturing the moment in a race, or creating the moment in a studio, I strive to make pictures that grab your attention. Before starting Don Karle Photography in 2009, I was the Director of Photography for VeloNews and Inside Triathlon magazines. It was the perfect place to hone and refine my craft—not only did I get the chance to shoot some amazing events—the Giro d'Italia and Ironman® Hawaii were a couple of my favorites—I got to work with the best photographers in the industry and learn how they saw the world. When I'm not behind the camera, you can find me in one of two places- napping on the couch with the dog or off on another adventure. I've climbed over half of the 14,000 foot peaks in Colorado, explored much of the West on a motorcycle and raced everything from a shopping cart to the Baja 500. If you are interested in scheduling a photo shoot or have additional questions, please email us. Thank you for visiting the website and I look forward to hearing from you.
