As kids, my best friends and I would take our bikes out to jumps and I would bring my old film camera to document our progressing skills. Little did I know then that one day I would be photographing world champions at events like Red Bull Rampage and Kona’s Ironman for a living. And bikes were just the beginning. Photographing action sports as a whole became my passion. From kayaking, mountain bike racing and rock climbing to paragliding, snowboarding and motorcycle racing, I’ve gained an intimate knowledge of each sport not only by participating, but by documenting the stories of the athletes that live them. While Colorado is my backyard and a mecca for sports of all kinds, I’ve had the great fortune to travel internationally to cover world class races and events with my photography subsequently being used for advertising, magazines, books and more.
